I was thrilled to be able to share some nutrition knowledge with the Biggest Loser Transformed Contestants when they came along for a training session at the GWS GIANTS. Some of the key messages I spoke to the contestants about included:
1. The importance of not only what to eat after a training session, but when to eat it as well.
2. How soon you should eat after a training session.
3. The ideal composition of a recovery meal.
It was fantastic to see the contestants put that knowledge into practice when they had to prepare some recovery meals for the players after a gruelling training session.
